In the past few months we’ve been asked the same question over and over again. The question: Are you the ones that have sold fleece sheets at the Big E? Answer: NO. BUT… we sell the same fleece sheets that were sold at The Big E. Canadian made fleece made out of an incredibly soft blend of polyester and acrylic with a white backing. These Canadian made fleece sheets are soft and cozy yet breathable. Fleece is easy to care for as well.

HoneyBearLane. The name alone inspires a feeling of warmth and welcome. Heidi blogs at HoneyBearLane, and she recently completed a slipcover project. The project started out with some pinned on sheets for a temporary slipcover. Instead of waiting to buy canvas fabric, she decided that she liked the satin stripes on the sheets and went ahead with her sewing. Complete with piping and pleats, this slipcover for her wingback chair looks fabulous!

The receptionist at my Doctor’s office just told me that I’m non-compliant because it’s been three years since I’ve seen the Doctor. Hmmm… I’ve been healthy and not had to visit my Dr. in three years but I’m non-compliant??? To top it off, I’m now considered “inactive” and… they are no longer accepting new patients.

Once I establish myself with a new physician, I’ll try and remember to get sick once a year so they can update my records.

Groups of Three = Eye Candy

In the 13 years that my hubby and I have been married, we’ve lived in four homes. The first one we renovated and the other three we built. Compared to some of the blogging ladies that I follow, 4 houses in 13 years isn’t that many, but to us, it’s been a fair bit of work and moving. Since neither one of us had much experience with landscaping, we had some professional help come in and give us a hand. He said that the only rule to remember, was the power of “odd” numbers or groupings. Ie. use 3 bushes in a grouping together versus 2 or 4. “Oddly” enough, this same rules applies to many home decorating ideas!

Angela, the author and designer behind www.ImagineCozy.blogspot.com, has a number of posts about bedrooms. She talks about lighting and fabric here and here. But the post that got me was the one about simple groupings in the bedroom.

A before shot for those of us who love before and after pictures.

And an after shot. Can you picture the “odd” groupings? A group of 3 mirrors over the bed, a group of 3 on the night side table, and another grouping on the roll top desk.

Now go look at your bedroom. There is a good chance that the vignette or grouping that you love the most in your room is comprised of an odd number of pieces pulled together.

Odd versus even. Odd wins every time!

Canadian Fleece Sheet Review
